Kathleen, the daughter of Patricia and David Cieslik,  is 19 years old and a Romeo resident.  She has three brothers:   Brian, who attends MSU, and Michael and Brendan who attend school in Romeo.

Kathleen grew up in Romeo and graduated from Romeo High School in 2008.  She attends Michigan State University and is studying Pre-law.   She plays the trombone in the Spartan Marching Band at MSU and also plays the clarinet and piano.  After graduation from MSU, she would like to attend law school and either practice law, or go into politics.  She is currently taking summer classes at Macomb.  Kathleen is employed at the Wharton Center for the Performing Arts at MSU.

Kathleen enjoys several activities, including dance and swimming.  She was a senior member of the Romeo Civic Ballet and Tap Companies and she is a certified lifeguard.  She also likes to read, play sports, practice her instruments, watch the Spartans, meet new people, and spend time with her family and friends.  Volunteer work that Kathleen enjoys is working with the St. John student parish in East Lansing.

Our new Peach Queen is quoted as saying, “I am thrilled to represent my home town as the Peach Queen this year.  It’s been a great honor and a lot of fun.  I’m really looking forward to the rest of this wonderful opportunity.”
